As predicted Datuk Nicole David captured her fifth World Open title as she beat Omneya Abdel Kawy in the final last night.
The petite Malaysian superstar continued the form she has shown throughout the tournament, looking supremacy calm and confident, stroking the ball to all four corners and accelerating when necessary.
Now, she equaled the record of 5 World Open titles held by Australia’s Sarah Fitz-Gerald after defeating local favourite Omneya. Wow she’s really make Malaysia and Malaysians proud… Bravo Bravo Bravo..Malaysia Boleh
